  • Hey, I just dug out my Moto G and decided to play with it. When I went to install Stock 5.1 debloated I kept getting Error 7 with TWRP. Any ideas how to fix it?
Question. Way back when you were tweaking the bootloader for the Moto G you released a few custom recoveries for the Moto G. I know there is TWRP, CWM and Philz Touch. Was there a custom TWRP that has added features?

No, just standard recoveries for the Moto G. I built TWRP for the Moto E 2015 with some added features. Maybe that is what you are thinking about.
Is there any way you will be making a cyanogenmod rom for either the Lg Ultimate 2 or the Lg Realm? You seem like a great developer.
Hello SuperR. I am reaching out to you in hopes that you can help the many who own the ZTE Zmax. I hear your work on ZTE phones is damn good and just trying in any way to help my brothers in obtaining root. We had Jcase helping but due to trolls we lost our only help. He obtained root but did not release it and canceled all work. Idk what else to do the bootloader is pretty nasty apparently please help in any way
hey my zte warp 4g is bricked , its stuck on the 4g logo screen , I used the warp lte test unbrick tool and it told my phone it was unbricked but its still doing the same thing , is there any thing else I can do ?
I need help with this ZTE warp 4g. I'm a victim of the Kitkat bricking and A noob to this. I understand everything thats going on, my problem is adb is recognizing my phone. I keep getting an "unauthorized" code next to the serial number
    I NEED HELP!!!!!!
So because I was too busy trying to fix my phone to work with the updater, I soft bricked my phone, it won't go past the green android screen, would I have to do the unbrick tool posted or is there an easier way? Thanks

not sure. please post these issues on the stock rom thread so others can reply as well and learn from things you learn. it helps me to not have to answer the same questions many times for many users. thanks :)

    That's so sure, thanks!
This time it got stuck at the at&t logo. I wonder if it is the porting guide I used. I ported app, fonts, framework, media, and priv-app from port to base. I ported the ect and intd.d folder, and I edited the build.prop of the base. Anything I did wrong? The porting guide I used is here

That guide is for porting JB base --> JB port or KK base --> KK port. You are trying JB base --> KK port. That guide will not work for you because JB framework will not work in KK rom.
Okay. The rom had a status 7 error (set perm failed) I fixed that. After I fixed that, it flashed but the ported kitkat didn't boot up. Any help?

try using the boot image from your stock rom instead of the kitkat one
Well. It's still at 4.1.2 There's a CM11 Kitkat for the z998, but it always freezes at the lock screen. Could you make a CM11 and I test it?
I just saw your sprint zte flash thread and i was wondering whether it's up to date. This is my first phone and i don't have alot of knowledge when it comes to rooting, cwm etc so if you could try and explain things in layman's terms that would be fantastic.
ill wait for tomorrow cuz im trying and I put usb hdd first to boot but im stuck there . I don't know whats tux directory or cant find the warp img im stuck there so ill wait for you
hey man can you help me please remember when i rooted my phone and mentiond about it in the wrong thread? well i rebooted my phone and its stuck on the android guy its a zte awe virgin mobile i can get into recovery and download how do i get it to boot again?
I haven't looked into the ext issue with the phone. but what about making the ext bootable? force the phone to boot from that card, even it means closing out the option to read the internal.
