I bought an htc one m7 off kijiji. Everything seems fine but i can't log into google play i get the message "There was a problem communicating with Google servers" i have tried using wifi or mobile data to log in as well as other accounts.
I found out the device is rooted. I found something called SuperSU and Xposed installer in the apps.
android version: 4.4.3
software number: MaximusHD 42.0.0
What can i do? i don't really know anything about rooting etc.
time and date seem to be correct, took a look, using network date and time.

i have read online that installing PrebuiltGmsCore.apk for some people has worked. how can i go about doing that?
EDIT: I opened the browser on the phone, downloaded it. open downloads and installed it. FIXED! this is for anyone else who runs into this problem.
