I have to install APK from file manager and I have already replaced the dialer an d everything else of my choice but.I need a fix for installing apps from file manager.BTW thanks for the help.

same problem here, i tried to use other phone and contacts.apk by installing as well as by replacing them in system/app folder but it always ends up in network icons lost and no sim card detected

Help Please..
I cant install apps bigger than 5mb. And I cant replace dialer. I have been asking for help for more than 2 weeks and no one is helping me.Please help me. I think many people are facing the same problem.:-(

most of the apps(apks) cant be installed.. whenever i proceed to install an app it shows installing then a random error shows.. application cannot be installed..

Solved!! Ta Da
1. Download Solid Explorer
2. When you open Soid Explorer it will say to download new ver. of BusyBox.Download it and install it.
3.Open Solid Exp. You will see 4-5 tabs on the bottom click on jump>device>system root>System>app. Then search for Vending.apk. Long Press on vending.apk
4. Click on properties.
5. See the Fourth Tab (Atributes) In that click on change.
6. Make it as follows
R W X
Tick Tick
Tick
Tick
7. Now above ok you should see "-rw-r--r--" "644".
8. Click on Ok.
9. Now come to second tab that is of "Additional Information".
10.Cick on more.
11. Click on "clear data".
12. Reboot the system.
DONE

under the System Settings menu ... there is a LEGO ice apps sub menu which contains app links like ... app hub, encryption, call record, blacklist and so on ...
few app links are trial and free version.. like call record is trial and performance booster linked to MTK cpu test version...

Well, i have pro versions of these apps.. and when i install these apps, they don't overwrite and so the test version and pro version are both installed side by side on this device. And when i press the LEGO ice app's app links ... they open up the trial version..

Now my query is... how to link the pro version apps to these app links... so that it will open the installed pro versions and not the test and trial ones that already are linked..

Please please please help me out with this ...

Anyone up ....!!!!! .... to solve this ... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is an awsome ROM.. fast and smooth..but there are some problems.. the most important is that whenever i make or receive a call the screen doesnt come so i cannot do anything like accessing the dialpad switching the speaker and all those things.. even i cannot hang up the call i have to wait for the person with whom i m taliking to hang up and after that the screen again comes.. please fix this issue..

I think the problem is with proximity sensors.. can anyone check it..

I tried this ROM in my MMX A73 and the one bug I found is...while clicking on Display-> Brightness Settings...I'm getting this error..."The application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." Any idea to avoid this? I tried Fix Permissions from CWM Recovery also. Let me check in detail for the other issues if any...

[Also I'm not able to install any applications having apk size >5MB !!! ---This issue is Solved after doing the steps mentioned in #182]

friends i am getting white screen after flashing this rom when i lock my device and unlock it.
