Root [GUIDE] Unbrick OR Unroot LG Motion 4G [KDZ]

so after so many tries i decided to do it on my sister desktop (which was running the same os as my laptop, windows 8.1 64bit) and i did the exact thing i did on my laptop and it worked i have stock again. idk why i couldn't make it work on my laptop thought lol. now i just want to know if its posible to root on firmware g lol

Sometimes programs that are already installed on your pc can prevent others from working. I also have a laptop running Windows 8.1 64bit and had used this method already for my Optimus F6 and it worked fine. Then a friend of mine bricked his motion and I couldn't get the program to open. I ended up backing up all my important files and doing a factory reset on my pc and then it worked again. I have also heard of people having similar problems with RSD Lite and Motorola devices. Especially with Windows 8, it can be a real pain in the rear depending what you are trying to do.

In a bit of a tight rope here...

Okay, so I recently got the ZTE ZMAX, packing the 4.4 android version. Needless to say I'm not gonna be needing this phone anymore (LG Motion)... Except my dad is wanting to use it as his own, which I have no problem with. Here's the thing, I f**ked up. You see, I had Cyanogenmod packed in there, as well as GT's kernel which let you uninstall any bloatware, even if it could have potentially bricked your phone without it. So in this instance, I had done this for the Trebuchet launcher. And guess what happens after I factory reset it to have it ready for him? After the setup is complete, the screen is completely black, except for the status bar.

So I took out the battery, cleared dalvik-cache, yadda yadda yadda, thinking at the time it was just a bug.
If you don't know by this point, uninstalling the system launcher made it go bye bye from the phone, even after a factory reset. So after endless frustration, I decided to go with this. Reverting to the stock LG firmware. I'm using the firmware c file... Except when it's in the process, most of the time before even finishing, there's a boot loop.

So, I'm just stuck at this point. Have attempted to use this unbrick method many times. There is no safe mode nor is there recovery. I'm at a loss but if anyone could help me it'd be appreciated.

EDIT: Somehow, miraculously, I did the process one more time... now it works. I knew because when I had left it to charge, the battery animation came on. After being a hustler, it finally came to work. Guess that's all you gotta do. Hustle.

Doing a factory reset just wipes the data partition and cache. It won't put back stuff that you remove from the system partition.

wIParam = 2001 IParam = 1
this is the last step i see after it gets to 100 using the kdz flash firmware tool like others have had.
i was able to use this tool thanks to you sammyz several times but after installing a o.d. rom it worked fine phone wise but all menus only took up a quarter of my screen and it was strange. i then tried to use the init 2 recovery like always but it did not work so i reflashed using the firmware tool in this thread but instead of working... it put me on a metropcs boot loop. Why is it not working like usual. I have drivers fro this thread as well as installed all like always and usb comes up fine all three modem, serial ,etc on my win 7 x64 pc. i have tried others as well.
i have a old samsung admire and i can boot into cwm using a button combo... is this not possible with the motion?

any help would be humbly and greatly apprecciated to any who can assist?

update:

if anyone has a boot loop with metropcs intro the best answer is to use the firmware an dkdz tool EVEN IF it stops at 100 and you still have the boot loop... u can unplug and then do a power button + vol down button hold to power on the phone and go into a hard reset... i guess in the past when i tried to do a hard reset my big fingers was also hitting vol up as i would always go into emergency aka download mode! thank you sammyz for the clarity in your posts as i could not find it in the 30 pages initially but on page 29-31 i got more clarity.

hope this helps anyone.... btw my phone is from march 2013 which is not old at all and came stock with g firmaware strange.
