Help Empty pop up window

Hi,

A strange empty window (attached screenshot) started to pop up.

Can someone please advise what is it and how to stop it?

The share icon and the thing in the bottom right are tapatalk things but they weren't actually on there.
I know... excuses excuses...
Those are outstanding visual cues that might help verify if my initial advice was correct or not.

That's certainly distinctive.

Settings, Apps, All - clear data and cache on your Internet browsers.

It's more than likely an attempted browser hijack by some ads.

If that doesn't work, try Addons Detector from the Play Store.
Thank you. I cleared data for internet browsers.
I cannot instantly confirm if it helped. Time will show if the pop up window appears again.

Unfortunately clearing data for internet browsers did not help. But I have noticed additional factors when the empty window pops up. It is when any of my apps is updated. Any thoughts?

Addons Detector did not find any addons in the filter category "Push notifications". What else I can do with the Addons Detector?
I'm not sure that it would be anything more to be honest.

Does this happen with both mobile data and wifi? Or do you have some sort of ad blocking or proxy in use?

The reason I ask is that I would expect the popup in any case, but maybe it's blank because the contents are being blocked and seeing it with a different data source might give more clues. :(

What phone or tablet is it?

I still think it's a hijack of some sort.

As an extreme measure, you could try wiping everything below /sdcard/Android - you will lose some data that way, but you can back that up to your pc first and restore it later if it creates more trouble than it solves.

It happens on both mobile and wifi.

I do not use any ad blocker or proxy on my phone.

The phone is Samsung galaxy S4 (GT-I9505).

So I finally tried to restore factory settings on my phone. And it did not help :(
I don't know if I am able to do something more in an attempt to wipe everything. As soon as I connected to my account, the phone downloaded all my old apps and probably restored many old settings.

I have identified an app, it is Google Drive, which always triggers an error message:
"An application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access system in your device"
The app never opens
And triggers the empty popup window to appear.

However the empty popup window still rarely appears even with the Google Drive uninstalled.

I want to use Google Drive, but I can't since July. Any more ideas what I could try please?
