Problem with LG Volt 2 connecting to network.

So to explain. I just or an LG Volt 2 about 2 weeks ago. It was running great until last night. I went to a friends house that I get no service at and then after I left I no longer have wireless data connection. My account is all paid for & my phone has bars. It will connect to the Internet when near wifi, but I can't call or text.

It says I have service. I have bars. My mobile data is on. My service state is in service. Not Roaming. My mobile network state is disconnected.

I took it by the boost shop, and while waiting for them to open my 4G LTE came back. I did the ##72786# network reset in the store and it fixed itself. But then on my way to my families house for thanksgiving it quit on me again. Everything is paid for, connected, and working except it's not. I've done a network reset, soft reset, hard reset.

I might as well ask before I return it for a replacement, anyone got any ideas?

I am on my second phone with Boost as my provider because of this same issue.
I have an exclamation mark on my service strength indicator and no service unless I am connected to Wi-Fi.
When I'm connected to Wi-Fi the exclamation mark disappears but no '1x or 3G/4gLTE.
I've tried a hard reset.
I've performed factory resets back to back at least 10 times.
I've tried updating firmware, software, and updating my profile (while on Wi-Fi) = no change
My I.P. address says 0.0.0.0
Is this common amongst Volt 2's?
I have the insurance plan and original receipt from the store.
Should I go through Boost a third time for repair/replacement?
Should I utilize LG's 1 yr warranty?
Or should I go through my insurance provider?
Can I request an equal replacement?
Why did I veer from iOS? (sarcasm)

Ugh, me too. Same exact story with my LG Volt 2. Like the OP, I also went to the BOOST store in person & was seriously disappointed when they were absolutely no help whatsoever. I got mine in January of this year and within 3 weeks, this issue showed up. Went back to my original Volt and just kind of forgot about this one. Until now, I need it because my old one got driven over lol I'm just not sure what to do either-- although at this point, I'm pretty sure Boost won't be any help to me so I prob gonna go the LG route.

Has anyone else noticed their phone getting hotter than usual since this issue began? Mine does, but not when I use it for just WiFi.

Thanks everyone. Good luck with yours!
