I have a m8 android box . it is hardwired to a secondary router in my house I have fiber Internet with 10mbs download and 5 upload speed and running kodi 15.2 with the beast . seems like every time I watch something it buffers . any idea why . thanjs

I have the same problem (58 mb/s download and 29 mb upload) with an Idroidnation 168G box. I turned off the hardware acceleration-- of which there were 2 methods, but I turned off only the libstagefright method-- leaving MediaCodec on, since that seems to give the best results.
Go to System/Video/Acceleration). Your box might be different, so you might have to experiment.

The m8 has that option, I had no picture and changed the acceleration setting from hardware to software and changed the screen size to 16:9 which helped me out, I saw something else about this on youtube. I cleared the cache and enabled zero caching in one of the maintenance tools. It could also be the sources. When you open a video hit the letter o some script should pop up. If the one that hits cache keeps hitting zero, it usually means the server is really busy that is hosting it. Try and find another one. Honestly i think just watching random youtube videos has been more helpful than the customer service i bought this box from. I think there was another trick i saw, uninstall the app thats buffering, exit kodi Go to the box settings clear cache there. I cant remember if he hit force stop. But he then went back to kodi and reinstalled the app. i think 2mbs is the minimum they suggest for standard definition, if its something high quality, that might cause some problems. If it's due to internet speed what i would suggest is just pausing it, and find something to do for a couple minutes while it catches up. I sometimes run into this problem and i show 20 mbs on the speed test. Hope this helps.
