    Root Quick questions...?

    I am going for the root and a new ROM, the one I will be choosing is CyanogenMod V5.0.4.2 for Droid. What will become of my contacts and my texts. Also when I put the ROM on my phone is there a way to put the numbers back on my phone from a backup or something...? Thanks in advance. -tom
