My original Dinc went swimming, so I had to get a replacement. The SKU on the original was ADR6300VW while the replacement was ADR6300VW2. Other than having Froyo preloaded and the different packaging graphics, are there any other differences I should know about?

    TIA

2MB MicroSD card in the new SKU. Also possible you'll end up with the LCD screen instead of the AMOLED.

True, the SD card came preinstalled in the replacement phone and in a separate package in the original.

I don't see any difference in the screen.

That's the same SKU as mine, which I got in June.
It's just different packaging, and the 2 gb flash card in the box.

And they won't be switching the screen till they announce the switch for the Incredible, and get a new FCC number. Until that happens, if you are holding an incredible it has an AMOLED in it.

Htc is not using the LCD screen on the Incredible.

The slcd version will have a new sku. Too many states with consumer laws for this not to be the case.... Not mention the FCC process.

    Where? Give me a link...

They announced the switch for the N1 and Desire, but have repeatedly said through TS/CS channels that they WEREN'T switching the incredible, and weren't planning to.

EDIT: ok, can we take this discussion elsewhere, since whether or not they're switching to SLCD soon DOESN'T affect the OP's Question, since his SKU is for the CURRENT AMOLED Incredible. I'd suggest http://androidforums.com/htc-incredible/173489-slcd-reality.html

I just got my incredible phone. The SKU number on the box is ADR6300VW2, while on the back of the phone (when pulling off the battery). I saw the number is ADR6300VW. Could anyone tell me if this is correct? Thanks.

From what I read, ADR6300VW3 is the one with SLCD. I have my phone since the launch day and my SKU is ADR6300VW.
