3g speed test

What are you guys getting.
I just did mine and 967 kbps download and 401 upload

speedtest.net app.

All this while pandora was running.
my 3g bars don't show full until i start using them. Wife has more bars on her droid but I get better results.

It depends, but 1-1.2mbit seems to be the average where i am right now. About 300-500kbit is the average upload speed for me. In some areas its faster such as chicago, but thats most likely due to me being much closer to the servers. I'm in the midwest near Iowa so anything above 1mbit is superb.

Todays results are:
1515 down, 636 up. (wifi)
1302 down, 907 up (3g only)

I changed servers to a location closer to me. And stopped Pandora from streaming.
This time I got 1658 kpbs 244 upload
Guess going to a server in 2 states away slows down your time lol.

This test won't be accurate as everybody will be tx to a different Location Server and everybody will be different distances from said server.

I'm in Southern California, and have been able to consistantly get ~2000 kbs down / ~750 kbs up.
