Hey guys i have a alcatel ot-990 running android 2.2.2 and built version FRG83G.v52Q-0.

does anyone know if this phone can be rooted? i have tried a couple of times but it has failed.

if it cannot be rooted can some please tell me where i can get some customize themes so i can change to look of my phone.

Have you tried SuperOneClick? It is supposed to be able to root nearly all Android phones (except for a few HTC phones).

There is a v2.1.1 update but some people are reporting some issues; v1.9.5 has proven itself to be steady and reliable in rooting Froyo phones.
