Help Almost 60GB of storage available but getting "insufficient storage" msg when attempting to move apps

My SD card was somehow corrupted. I have formatted it (after trying unsuccessfully to recover my data) and it is showing up having almost 60 GB of available space. But when I try to move my apps to the SD card I get the "insufficient space" msg. I've tried to move apps of all sizes and nothing works. Even a tiny little 13MB app got the boot. Anyone know how to fix this?

I suspect you need a new SD card - they do fail sometimes. Does the card work in any other device, PC or other phone?
