Help Amazon Prime Video playback problems

Hi I just got my first android phone yesterday, the Honor 7, everything is great apart from Amazon Prime. I had to download the App from Amazon as the app isn't available on the Play store. It downloads and installs ok but when i play any video from prime, the playback has a long green bar along the bottom of the screen and the picture has a green ghosting effect and the quality is terrible. I have searched the internet and can't find anyone with the same problem. Any ideas? thanks in advance David

I have the same issue with the same phone. I think it may link to xray, as it seems to play adverts like the one about the man in high castle ahead of content proper ok. Was thinking if raising it.with amazon, have you already?

it's actually working now, i got a message saying some apps were updated, to be honest i never checked which ones and i decided to try amazon prime again and it worked ok hope yours works now
