Help Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 on Evo...Video is still kinda choppy.

I have the HTC evo on Sprint which so far I love it. I was messing with youtube late last nite and noticed on fast moving it seems to glitch a little bit. Is this because of the 30fps cap??? I had a motorola droid and it was smooth as water.

Even if I download a video it seems like it skips every second like a frame skip or something. Is this due to the HTC software cap. Also what about the speaker. Seems a lot quieter than the Motorola Droid speaker.

I just re-config'd both stock and custom kernels (with and without cap) - my downloaded vids play way smooth, no frame skipping.

For YouTubes my music vid downloads are mp4 format, typically 13~18 MB.

I wonder if you don't have two problems, one with connection speed, one with your SD card.

For the first - can you say if the situation changes if accessing via wifi?

For the second, this is probably the dumb idea of the decade - but do you have maybe a zillion files on it so that you might be getting some sort of SD card equivalent to severe disk fragmentation? (I'm not even sure that's possible with SD card access rates and so forth.)
