Don't regret it but. The screen inst very impressive and it doesn't feel like glass. It fells like plastic and when you press on it, it makes the LCD warp or whatever.

No secret. I put a 720P .wmv file in the DCIM folder, same place where atrix saves photos and videos, plugged in a micro hdmi cable that came with the phone to my lcd tv, went to videos, scrolled to the trailer I loaded on the Atrix, and played it no problem. I would like to know what file formats are supported, guess I'll check android release notes to find out.

thats not what mirroring is. Mirroring means you see EVERYTHING you see on your phone (homescreen, games, etc). Playing videos has been always enabled in HDMI phones (evo, droid x, etc).
I get my atrix tomorrow, and will see if it really is mirroring.
No regrets....but ! I have been using an iPhone 4 for the past 8 mo. Or so and can see a huge difference in the picture and video quality. ( more grain and the colors seem to be off a bit) compared to the iPhone. When browsing the web the screen looks really good though.
This is my first android device and it is really fast and seems to be easy to use. I got everything set up fast ... Facebook , gmail ect and this phone can definitely do things my iPhone can't even with the jailbreak. I'm really enjoying both and will be using both daily.
I have high expectations and the phone seems to be living up to them.
I'm in Los Angeles and the back haul is supposed to be up and running in my area so I will be testing speed tomorrow.
And how is the Atrix underwhelming for you? Did you have some unrealistic expectiations of what the Atrix can do that failed you when you finally got it?

All the dual-core hype and qHD screen to me at least isnt all that impressive. Comparing the iP4 and Atrix side by side, iP4's screen was brighter and much clearer. I also didnt notice anything special in the speed department compared to say the insipre 4G. So yes for all the hype this device generated, including its "best in show" from CES, I dont see much of an improvement over the Droid X, for example. Moto Blur is still the same, I did have some small stutters when scrolling through the menu and the camera is sub-par.

How did you do that?, I mean when you plug the min HDMI to TV HDMI port does something pop-up in your screen to say webtop/entertainment etc and you have to choose one to get the display on TV?
As when I tried connecting nothing happened?

How did you do all these? do you have some kind of instruction we can follow?

I had the same problem. I plugged the HDMI cable into my monitor and nothing happened. The Atrix had a pop up asking if I wanted the "entertainment center" to start, but when you clicked it, nothing came up on my screen.

No regrets so far. Replaced my Nexus One on the day the Inspire came out and returned the Inspire cause of battery life and picked up the Atrix today. Like the fact that it doesn't feel as bulky and I use ADW EX so I don't care about Sense or Blur. Also like that I can use Blur widgets with ADW since Sense ones wont work. If the battery lasts at least as long as my Nexus I'll be happy... Plus just ordered the basic dock, feather case and antiglare screen protectors off the AT&T site for $61 shipped that'll hopefully be here soon since my AT&T store had no accessories in stock...
No regrets at all, this is by far the best phone I've ever owned. I like this display much more than the tiny display on my wifes Iphone4. The Atrix has kicked the Iphone4's ass in every side by side comparison I've done so far and it's going to get alot worse for the Iphone when the Atrix gets Gingerbread. One thing I've noticed is that Android phones get faster with OS upgrades and Iphones get slower with OS upgrades.
Phone is awesome to me. I had a blackberry bold 9000. Software wise: No hickups, nothing wrong. Android is awesome, phone is awesome. everything is smooth.
Hardware: Fingerprint scanner works PERFECT for me. I can't even believe it. I had to use a random finger to make sure that it wasn't just accepting any fingerprint. but nope. It works as intended. Really surprised there.
Holding the phone: Two problems I have here. One, is the phone is slippery and without a case you might easily drop it. Second problem is when you're charging it/have the usb wire hooked in it's extremely difficult to hold and type at the same time, since the port is on the left side. Other than that, the phone is very sturdy and no problems that I have experienced.
I love this. Screw BB, screw iphone (although I love apple, I own many many products of apple including computers/itouch/stock options.)
Just need to get an anti glare screen protecter, and a case, and im set.
No regrets. It's very fast and I love everything about it except for maybe the screen. I've found the screen is neither as good as it was hyped or as bad as some of the initial reports(it falls somewhere in the middle for me).
I took about 15 seconds after plugging the hdmi cable into the phone for that to pop up. I can't remember, but I may have also had to set the monitor input to HDMI also.
