Hi y'all, as a n00be I have asked a lot of questions, so I thought it might be cool to give something back to the forum community.
I found that some providers get a litte testy when providing warranty service if they see that the flash counter has been tripped, so I wanted to see if there was a way to easily reset it so even a n00be like me could do it without freaking out.
With the usual caviat that you use this at your own risk, and that this could potentially brick your phone, I have included a small program that works on the US version of the S2 Skyrocket that will reset your flash counter to NO.
To use:
You must be rooted. (Theres a surprise, eh?)
Add ZIP file to your internal SD card
Re-boot into Recovery mode
Instal from ZIP
Scroll, Click, DONE
REBOOT
Hope this helps someone.
Cheers!
paul
