Best phone for recording video? (1080p)

I want to get a new phone to be able to have a "somewhat okay" camcorder on me. I don't care much about other features, but I guess battery life and memory also is important when recording video.

How much difference is there, when we talk 1080p phones?

Buy a camcorder...honestly. If you are intending shooting lots of videos invest in a 1080p camcorder they will do a far better job than any smartphone.

I know that I am pretty impressed by my GSII's filming capability...
I filmed my buddies flattracking last weekend and the vid quality is amazing! Their heat lasted about 2-2.5 mins and it seemed like it would've kept going for at least another minute or more.

But I agree with Clevo, if all you are concerned about is filming, I'd get a smaller camcorder.

I do quite a bit of video and still pictures on my phone and don't even carry another camera anymore. The Galaxy SII is great at both, especially on a phone!

The mytouch 4g slide (aka the htc doubleshot) records in 1080p, It looks great. I don't use my stand alone camera anymore.
