that's all I use for flashing/charging my prevail and sprint Samsung intercept. my brother showed me this. he used on his virgin mobile intercept and epic 3g
I've used on:
XP 32 bit
vista 32 bit
windows 8 64 bit
mine extremely long like 5'
I no longer use Samsung cables except as spare chargers when traveling.
I have Odin'd many times with no problems and can connect to cdmaws and qpst to change prl on prevail
I flashed sprint intercept to metro pcs, and epic to virgin mobile with this cord
I got a Huawei ascend with busted screen to connect in fast boot and flash to stock too so I can use as USB wifi antenna for laptop (adb/screencast controlled)
if anybody gets chance to try on other phones especially Samsung devices please post here and say if work for data or not and if tested with Odin/cdmaws/qpst
and it from original kindle btw but I'm sure they didn't change cord
