Blinking lights

I asked a question a few days ago and it's marked as solved, even though no one answered my question. I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 with ATT. Sometimes in the top left of the phone I have a blinking light. Sometimes it is red, sometimes blue, green, yellow or white. What do these blinking lights mean? I can't figure out any pattern?.

What version of Android? In 4.3, the default is

Red - charging
Red blink - low battery
Blue - missed a call, message or app notification
Blue blink - recording voice

There's also at least one app - Light Manager - that lets you set up almost any color and blink speed for anything.

Theres also the Light Flow app to change them. i hate the blinking so i keep the lights solid which actually uses less battery apparently
