Help Boot Screen

When I turn on phone it goes straight to Boot Screen. HBOOT and FASTBOOT are highlighted in blue and it reads and displays the SD card info. for a few seconds. Using the volume control will not select another choice. I have to remove battery to turn off power. Once while holding down volume - and the power button I got to white HTC screen,but usually it hangs on the boot choice screen.

Sounds like your volume key is stuck. Straight to hboot is what happens when volume down is held down, and if the key doesn't release you won't be able to select any of the items.

When I press the volume toggle + or - there is a click. Is there anyway I can fix the volume toggle.

does pressing volume move the menu selector on the screen?

No, pressing volume up/down does not move the menu choice.

Have you voided your warranty in any way? may well be a hardware issue

Yes the warranty has been voided.

What did you do to void the warranty? Drop it in water?

Yes dropped in water about 2 months ago,dryed it out been working ok until last week.

Water damage is always terminal, all you can do is slow it down. Bag of rice etc.

It's probably due to the damage the volume won't work. Best get a shop to look at it

Turned on phone today everything working except camera.
