Root cannot flash new rom

hi i am trying to flash velocity rom on my ally but everytime i goto rom manager it reboots my phone and when it looks like its going to go into recovery( theres a triangle and !) it just procedes to boot up like normal.

no i did not lol. got it to work thank you. now that its loaded what is the benefits of having this?

I have had to flash recovery twice every time. The first time doesn't take. Try flashing their recovery again, I think it's the first option.

yep thats what i had to do but now i have it and as far as i can see its error free
