Can't add to contacts on Z Fold 3 after latest update

Hello...

I've discovered an issue with my phone and I'm not sure whether it's a glitch or something I have done by mistake.

Every time I try to add a contact, whether via my Contacts list or WhatsApp, I keep getting the same message - "Can't add contacts to read-only accounts". This has been ever since the latest Android update.

Please can you tell me what I can do to fix this problem? I've tried looking for permissions etc via Settings, but to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

never come across this issue on my z fold 3. and i am constantly adding contacts to my phone for work. are you trying to add whatsapp contacts to either your phone's or google's contacts?
