Cant connect to Kies from a Samsung Galaxy S Plus??

Hello, ive just buyed me a new (my first) android phone.
My problem is that when i try to connect the Samsung Galaxy S plus to Kies on PC, nothing happens (it only says looking for device).
And i have tried to connect by reinstalling the drivers in Kies, but that only work one time, before i need to to it again. So is there anything i can do to prevent this from Happening??


And one other thing, when i try to use the search bar in Samsung Apps, it only says "failed the connect to network" i need to say "cancel" every time i search, still i find search results and can download the apps.

A few items:
- Use a local administrator account on your PC.
- Use the USB cable that came with your phone.
- Plug it into a USB port on the PC, not on a USB hub.
- I think it made a difference if I plugged the cable into the PC and then into the phone or the other way around. I don't remember for sure.

my galaxy s plus is also not connecting with kies...it says "this device is not supported by kies 2.0"...and my current version is kies 2.2

A few items:
- Plug it into a USB port on the PC, not on a USB hub.

Technically if you have usb ports at the front of your computer, those are USB hubs aswell. If you have problems use the USB ports at the back of your computer. (that solved my problem)
