Can't get Iris app to work

So I downloaded Iris and every time I try to launch it the app closes unexpectedly. The Iris intro with the giant blue ball shows up for like 5-7 second like it's loading but then every time the closed unexpectedly error pops up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times but no luck.

FWIW I have a HTC Liberty.

I have the same problem with my LG Axis...I tried Speakoid's Assistant and it works fine..but IRIS keeps force closing at the loading screen.
