Help Can't update to Jelly Bean, my father can.

Sooo me and my dad have the GS3.
I set it up as UK and he as Israel. I changed it to Israel, obviously, to have the option to update.
I have Android 4.04, he has 4.1.1. I constantly go to "About Device" and check for updates, and it says No Update Available. I really don't know what is going on. He already downloaded and installed it yet I can't even see it! Tried resetting it, changing to another country, and nothing. Help?

yeah try updating it through samsung kies..download samsung kies on your laptop/pc..

P.S- Kies is a software used to connect your laptop/pc with your mobile through a USB cable or wirelessly..
