Capacitive touchscreen is unresponsive

So I have a capacitive touch screen tablet. Now recently it went down the pooper, quite literally. Now I got some silica packets and rice, and drained all the water out (Previously you could see the water between the display and screen, now it's gone). However, the tablet doesn't respond to any touch input. It's been in the rice for about a day now. What do?

Just to make it clear:
Tablet boots up.
Buttons on the tablet work.
Sound works
No visible water between LCD Screen/touch screen.
