Even with 4 bars and running under "hybrid" (1x+EVDO) my Evo will only pull data down using 1X. I have to switch to "EVDO Only" to get the EVDO speeds. This is causing me to leave the setting to EVDO only more often than not since I stream using xiialive, 1X cant even keep up with 96kb bit rates. Of course the down side is losing service much more often. Is anyone else experiencing bad EVDO connectivity? Also, whats the deal with the 3G icon showing up when on 1X?
