Help Changing the text-box background color. Possible?

Hello all. I just recently got my new Dinc2, and I really like the phone. However, Since I use the anti-glare screen protectors, any text/space with a white-background becomes pixelated/colorful and makes reading difficult on the eyes. I have two questions.

1. Is it possible to change the background colors of these spaces? Most important for me is the browser and the text-messaging text boxes. Changing the background to a darker color would help make it easier to read.

2. Perhaps I should just get some clear screen protectors. Can anyone recommend a good clear (non-distorting) screen protector that they are fully satisfied with?

boxwave has nice ones. their matte, antiglare ones are very nice too. SGP, whcih many people seem to like also just released their products for the inc2. I ordered some from them too to check them out.

but to your question about the color, you'd probably have to get a 3rd party appp like handcent or goSMS to do that. i've never used the stock so i don't really know though.

yeah for the messenging I use GoSMS. I tried handcent out on the original inc, and it was very slow and Fc'd a lot, never had an issue with Gosms tho. Now I have it on the INC2 and it works great. You can change anything and everything about it, including individual alerts, ect.
