Charger Amps and Ringtone Volume

Hi All, I have just got my first Android which is a Star A2000, (chinise I know but not a bad phone) my question is.....the Star comes with an charger output: DC5V=500MA and I have a Samsung Jet, charger output: DC5V =0.7A both have the the same connecter, will the Samsung charger cause any damage to the Star or will it just charge quicker? also the ringtone on the Star is not very loud on full volume, is there any app/way I can make it louder, I have tried different mp3 songs and ringtones to no avail. You'd be safe to use that charger but just keep an eye on it at first and if your phone starts doing strange things don't use it.

.7A at the Samsung charger says it' able to provide a current of 700mA.
But the phone itself will decide of its right charging current.
So there is no danger for the phone
