Climate change ?

I love when the chicken little gang uses the words "HOTTEST EVER"...... and then say 'local climates' or 'daily records' mean nothing in comparison to the overall "global historical records"

Huh

of course then the same people mock christian groups who say the earth is only 6000 years old

Seems reasonable, given that's a flat out lie as well

at the same time these fanatical alarmists believe the earth must be less than 200 years old

Huh

news flash......... the earth global average has been MUCH MUCH warmer than any "historical record".......... and green house gases have all been MUCH MUCH higher than any "historical record"........ it didnt destroy earth....... it didnt kill man...... in fact both flourished beyond imagination

Err .. pretty hard to kill man given man hadn't yet evolved

The creatures that were around then would struggle to survive now, just as we would struggle to survive in the conditions back then.

A hotter climate certainly suited dinosaurs: that's how they could be so much bigger than the biggest reptiles we have around now.

News flash: we're not dinosaurs

it has empirically been proven that higher greenhouse gases and higher global temperatures and higher oceans and lower polar ice are all better for the earth than our current levels

Better how and for what

All those major cities under water, less land for food production, a good chance the most productive land we have now would be desert?

Where's your evidence it would be better for human beings?

Oh that's right! There is none.

Weather Channel Co-Founder: 'Hello Everybody! There Is No Global Warming'

"There is no consensus in science," said Coleman. "Science isn’t a vote. Science is about facts. If you get down to the hard cold facts, climate change is not happening. There is no significant man-made global warming now."

The matter has "become a big political point of the Democratic Party," Coleman continued, and he regrets "that it has become political and not scientific, but science is on my side."

Coldest November Weather in Decades Infiltrates Wyoming to Texas From the North Pole

"This is exceptional cold," AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist Henry Margusity said. "It's the coldest air we've seen in decades during November."

What about centuries or 1000s or 10000 or 100000, etc. of years? Oh, that's right, the weather hasn't been measured for a fraction of that. Just messin, its great to go green but there is a lot of hype ...creates jobs though!

Climatologist: 30-Year Cold Spell Strikes Earth

The earth, he says, is cooling, and cooling fast.
And unless the scientific community and political leaders act soon, cold, dark days are ahead.
Casey says the evidence is clear that the earth is rapidly growing colder because of diminished solar activity.
He says trends indicate we could be headed for colder temperatures similar to those seen in the late 1700s and early 1800s when the sun went into a "solar minimum" — a phenomenon with significantly reduced solar activity, including solar flares and sunspots.
If he's right, that would be very bad news.
"Dark Winter" posits that a 30-year period of cold has already begun. Frigid temperatures, and food shortages that inevitably result, could lead to riots and chaos.

One city, one state, or even one country is irrelevant. 2014 is the hottest year on record globally.

http://www.theguardian.com/environm...to-be-worlds-hottest-year-ever-climate-change

The findings – broadly in line with those of the US National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (Noaa) and other scientific agencies –
indicate that by year-end 2014 will break all previous high temperature
records.
The steady escalation of greenhouse gas emissions, caused by the
burning of fossil fuels, have seen a succession of record-breaking years
for temperature since the dawning of the 21 century and 2014
promises to be no exception, the WMO said.
“Fourteen of the 15 warmest years on record have all occurred in the
21st century,” said the WMO’s secretary-general Michel Jarraud. “What
we saw in 2014 is consistent with what we expect from a changing
climate.

Siberian Express Grips Midwest, Northeast, South; Four Cities Set All-Time Record Lows

Hundreds of daily record lows and at least three all-time record lows have been set as a frigid air mass with a connection to Siberia grips the central and eastern United States with dangerously cold conditions. Friday morning has brought the most widespread and intense cold of the winter to many areas, sending temperatures into the 30s below zero as far south as Kentucky.
