Root "communications with phone unexpectedly interrupted" unrevoked 3.1

So I have been trying to root my phone but I keep getting the "communications with phone unexpectedly interrupted" error after it says something like "waiting 5 seconds for windows because it sucks." Then it loads into the Clockwork recovery but when I reboot the phone no SU.

I searched here and the XDA forums but I cant find anything. Any ideas? everything else runs smooth.

Ok nevermind I used my netbook (W7 32bit) and it worked lol
