Samsung has posted a new video: Samsung Galaxy S Lineup Its a nice watch. At 1:44, narrator says "3D audio is also featured on Vibrant and Captivate". No mention of Epic and Fascinate. Narrator is not taking name of the phone unless there is something unique about it. Is that possible that Epic will not have 3D sound which, I guess, is referring to 5.1 Surround Sound feature...

I was kinda sad that no 3d sound would be included with on the Epic. But that doesn't mean similar sound if not something will be better. Also looke at what you are getting on sprint....4G, slide out qwerty keyboard and front cam for video calls...that is exclusive to Sprint.

It's simulated 3d sound anyway which means it's all software based, you can have it on the Epic or any other phone with the proper software installed, true 3d sound would require multiple speakers and I mean more than just 1 or 2, you can simulate the experience via software and I imagine that's what they're referring to.

Yes it is simulated, however the 3D sound will be only be audible through headphones not the speaker on the back. In time its likely the entire Galaxy line will have this feature..
