Creative is suing 7 major smartphone manufacturers. They have filed a complaint with the US ITC to ask for injunctions on smartphone sales from BlackBerry, HTC, LG, Lenovo/Motorola, Samsung, Sony and ZTE.
The company is suing for infringement of a patent they own related to hierarchical menu systems to access music on a device. The patent was used to successfully sue Apple for a similar infringement on the iPod.
