I've seen that Air is available for Android now. I'm kinda aware of what it's for, but not an expert. Do we really need another Adobe-mammoth programme on our phones?

I wondered the same thing. I had it installed but last night did an upgrade so it got wiped. It took 16mb without being moved to the SD card. So I am hoping we do not. From what I have read it will be for future supported apps.

Can anyone simply explain what it is? I had it installed a while back but it took 16mb and I never used it. Only installed cause sites like engadget and android central made it seem like a pretty big deal...?

It's an application that runs web based apps within a client.

    Or something...
