I don't really know how I feel about insurance fraud.

I just feel like if the phone was broken before you took it apart to try to fix it, they should still cover it you know? I realize they have no way of knowing it wouldn't work, but you know it. Therefore I personally don't see it as insurance fraud. You aren't selling the phone at a profit and claiming it was stolen. It was accidental damage which is what insurance is for. Is that fraud? I'm not trying to convine anyone to do anything. It's up to you what you do. I'm just giving my thoughts.
