Help Droid Pro- sd card

I have a Droid Pro that I bought from a friend.. I bought a brand new sd memory card 32g.. I transf my pictures from my 16g that I put on the computer onto the 32g, all I get is this error msg that says "file cannot be displayed or played on every picture I have on the sd card.. I erased the sd card took it back got a brand new one, still get the same error msg.. what is going on with this stupid phone.. it even does it on pictures that i just took like on yesterday.. can not use the pictures for wallpaper or contacts.. this is crazy.. Can you not use this phone for this type stuff?? please if somebody could answer or help i would appreciate it..
