Any more information on an update being sent out for Droid on 12/5? If so how will it be done?
Probably like other android updates, settings, about phone, update.
I suppose we will see in just a few days.
Last I heard it was on for 11 December
Is this one with Bluetooth? Because I heard you can't sync from some phones to the Droid.

the heck with us mytouch owners.. grrr
It's an update to 2.0.
Guess we'll see what happens on the 11th. I hope buying apps is still as convenient if they change it to go through the carrier. I think it's smooth the way it works now.
what im saying is they can confirm a 2.1 update for the droid but i cant find anyhthing for mytouch users getting 2.0
You sure do post a ton of stuff complaining about Droid users getting an update. If you want to be included in all the action why don't you just get a Droid if you're obsessed with its updates? A phone like the mytouch is going to get increasingly less attention as 2.0 units are rolled out in 2010.
And just so you know, the Droid updates are already being pushed. Did mine around 9 this AM....
@mplevy: Let us know how it goes. Any noticeable improvements?
Update went smoothly. Overall performance seems better (ex ept on this forum)
There's a thread in the Droid section on this update
My Droid update to 2.0.1 was two steps forward and one big step back: it broke Exchange calendar/contacts for some of us. Refer to:
