Droid wall not working?

I have droid wall installed on both my rooted LG Optimus V and my new stock Nexus 7 mobile (att sim). I have black listed certain apps from both WiFi and 3g so they cannot display ads. But the apps still are.... Yet, when I activate airplane mode, the apps do not display the ads.

Is droid wall ineffective or is there a setting tweak of which I am unaware? Input appreciated! TIA

Is it working on neither device or does it work on the Optimus V?

IIRC, Droid Wall is a root only app, which is why it would not be working on your stock Nexus 7.

It works on the V most of the time, but not with all apps, like androzip. Odd... I wasn't sure if droid wall was root only, description didn't indicate unless I missed it, lol.

Duh, my bad! That's what i get for playing with my new toy at midnight, lol.

Now if only i could figure out why I'm still getting an ad on androzip even with droidwall and adfree on my rooted phone.

Not sure... I noticed that it wasn't always working on my DHD either... I moved to Avast, which also has that feature, along with other functionality
