Not that that isn't helpful, but the article is a month old and has been linked on here before. Steven, I thought you're on here enough to have seen it previously.
Battery life has been great on my phone, a lot better than the Incredible I had. I wonder how the battery is doing for most users on the Droid 2 and Samsung Fascinate?

While I agree that my Droid X has had fantastic battery life this test is not a good standard for testing battery life as it only tests one thing and because websites have mostly white backgrounds AMOLED's had no shot because of the fact they use more power to display white then darker colors. I would have been interested to see how both go playing back music and video as well as for making phone calls.
This is an interesting test given that if you do a battery usage report on the DX, mine ALWAYS says that the display is using most of the battery by far. And that is with the screen timeout as short as possible and the brightness cranked almost all the way down. I can only imagine that the AMOLED screens with their high energy usage and brighter output must suck the battery down like an Irishman on a Guiness. At least us Android users have the option of a spare battery. Battery life is just as bad on the dark side and they do not even have the option of a spare battery.
