Duplicate Email Accounts Error with Separate Accounts

I'm trying to setup Emails on my Android with 2 different email accounts hosted by Google Apps. Unfortunately when I try to add these 2 accounts I get a "Duplicate Email Account" error.

Both start with dallas@ but are 2 different domain names, is there a way to get around this properly? I have setup a CNAME record on one of the email accounts to get around it.

But surely there must be a better way.

Are you using the default email application that comes with your device?

If you have a Gmail might I suggest to use the Gmail application for that email and maybe use the default email application for then other one.
