Help Erasing message history LG C555???

How do I get rid of the mess in my inbox? I love how it keeps my conversations together, but about 90% of them I don't want their just making it difficult to navigate through my messages. How do I delete these entire conversations, or even single messages?

Please help.

long press on the thread or the specific message should pop up the message to delete them..
