Eris talk to text

STILL frustrated that after all this time there is no good solution for using talk to text for the Eris. The only answer so far is to just download a new keyboard, and each one has its own cons. Idk if any app developer has thought of this yet, but here is a suggestion. How about a download that turns the "search button" (magnifying glass button on the bottom right that's used for Google search) into a "talk to text" button while entering a text message. This would surely be easier to design than a new keyboard and would be much more handy. And I'm sure people would be willing to pay just as much as they are now for a new keyboard if not more... Any thoughts on this? (If anyone knows of any app developers, please suggest this to them... I'm sure there is some money to be made here)
