Everything is great... but want OC now

Given post count, join date... i'm more of a lurker. However I'm looking for opinions of others for an OC ROM. Day one I got the phone I was on Fresh 1.1, then wanted some 2.0 flavor and up'd to Fresh 2.0d. I love the ROM, with the exception I want to be able to use SetCPU (For OC and UC abilities)

I don't use Bluetooth or Facebook/Twitter so any issues with OC roms directly related to those issues are not a problem.

I prefer something less buggy and not in development phase.

So what do you recommend, and why?

Also, FWIW, I have lurked on XDA as well, and see a lot of ROM's I'm not familiar with. Just looking for experience others have had.

As well, since I'm not the social networking kind... is there a way to uninstall Twitter and Facebook? I looked under settings/manage applications but I see no way to uninstall those.

You can uninstall FB and Twitter through adb. I would recommend the Zen MT3G port ROM. It's fast and stable.

Will uninstalling through adb affect anything else in the ROM (any particular ROM)

i use fresh toast 2.1 and it's running crazy awesome. can over clock up to like 760mhz and can slow down to hardly anything. my battery is better than almost any phone i've had now thanks to OC widget

+1 3.2 mflops in linpack vs 1.9 stock same average battery life with normal usage OCWidget is now recommend with fresh toast

Uninstalling through adb will not affect anything else in the ROM. It's how I removed all the apps I didn't want on my phone, including peep (aka twitter for sense). I really do recommend the Zenexp ROM. There is a whole thread on it in this forum. It's worth adding to your try out list.

I tried Fresh toast, and couldn't get it to run. Zen works great. It is wicked fast, and it is a very pleasant change from the normal sprint flavored stuff. Def try it out... great overclock rom.

I'll put a third vote for Zen. It's the only ROM that has stayed on my phone for more than 24 hours!
