Im currently working on a low-cost telepresence system.
In the slave side (remote environment) I'm going to stream stereoscopic vision through Android. The master (operator environment) will then receive the image in 3D.
I have already implemented a prototype with 2 android smartphones.
But currently im thinking about using an USB OTG cable and connect a second camera to the smartphone.

- Anyone know if it would be possible to use an external camera and the internal camera at same time, both capturing image, in order to capture stereo image? Or maybe connect a 3D camera and get the stereo from the same device?
- Anyone know the degree of difficult to implement the access to an external webcam programmatically?
