Facebook for Android notifications not working

Hi guys,

I have Facebook for Android set to update notifications every hour and have set it to vibrate and play a sound...but I have yet to get even 1 notification...I have to go in to and manually update myself.
Anyone else got this problem?

Everyone has that problem Facebook app for Android is pure crap.

I recommend using touch.facebook.com on your browser. You won't get notifications there either, but at least you will be able to send messages and accept friend requests.

Yeah, or try an app called Bloo, its what i use.

There was an update to the official android Facebook app recently and now notifications work just fine. They pop up at the top like they should.

Arthur ,I applied the update mate and it is still the same....no notifications are popping up anywhere on the phone.HAve it set to update every half hour and also chose a ringtone to go with it....nothing!

I've looked everywhere for a gd Facebook app but nothing. Yeh boo does do notifications but its jus not great browsing and things like that. A new app is needed our the Facebook app jus needs notifications n I will h happy.
