Facebook for myTouch

I'm trying to sync pictures my contacts with facebook and it works fine with the facebook app from the market but the picture quality is bad. Some of my pictures are synced with facebook for mytouch but it has stop syncing since Aug 21st saying "sync is currently experience problems, it will be back shortly" Is there a way to successfully fix this or is there really a problem with that app?

I thought I was the only one with this problem, but I kinda found that if you remove the account and then add it again, everything syncs. Although the information syncs at that moment, the problem persists, since it stops syncing on it's own after a while.
