Galaxy s keyboard

Whats the keyboard like on the Galaxy s? I have an HTC hero and the HTC keyboard is (given the size of the screen) very good. My dad has the Galaxy Portal and the keys are smaller and closer together and suck. Also the feedback vibrations for the keyboard are very week on the portal compared to the Hero.

Whats the keyboard like on the Galaxy compared to the Portal?

well i heard galaxy s has swype and u can actually manually install the htc keyboard also i think u can find them at xda developers page i found them at their website and i believe u can change the vibration feedback settings also

I have been using Swype ever since I got the phone and I must say that Swype is simply the most phenomenal invention in a long time! Once you get used to it you won't want to go back to the normal way of using the keyboard. Galaxy S comes preloaded with Swype.... which is far far better than any HTC keyboard.
