Getting better battery life today

I'm getting better battery life on my Eris today (stock 2.1). I've already used it more than most days and yet the battery meter is reading more charge.

What changed you ask?

• Applied a Facebook update.
• Removed the official Twitter app and replaced it with Seesmic.
• Swype stopped working so I uninstalled and then installed the newer (English/Spanish only) version.

I could be mistaken but maybe one of these updates is easier on the battery. Anybody else see an improvement?

The system update the eris got improved battery life.

I got the OS update must have been over a week ago and didn't notice any change until today. Could be that I suppose.
