Help Google Mobile Not Working

Got a HTC Desire and since Google updated their mobile interface with the new Google nav bar last week I've not been able to get it to work in the standard Android Browser.

When I navigate to Google, or use the search widget the results page shows up as normal, but after a second it reloads briefly (which brings in the Google nav bar) but then none of the links work, not even the 2, 3, 4 etc or next page links.

It doesn't make a difference whether I enable Google Instant or not, nothing works.

Google's Classic interface works fine, it's just the new Mobile interface doesn't

I now have to use an alternative browser, does anyone else have this issue or is there a remedy for it as I actually prefer the default browser so it's a shame I can't use it

You're using the HTC browser rather than the Android browser. I use a vanilla android OS that uses the Android browser and from what I have seen, everything works ok.

Anyone else having issues with the HTC browser?

Yup, sorry HTC browser

I've switched to classic view, but whilst I'm mobile it's easier & quicker to use mobile view, so it's a shame i'm finding it not working

Although I find it strange it's just me, I can't find anything online about it anywhere. Odd

Will be rooting soon, because I want Gingerbread anyway. I've just held off because It's an Orange Desire (unlocked to use a 3sim) it's not possible for me to go back once rooted
