Help GPS issues

Hello all, I just switched from an iPhone 3G to the Infuse 4G and I love the phone. However, it seems to take a very long time to access the satellites for location based navigation or compass usage (if it even accesses them at all) as compared to the iPhone. I'm not sure if there is something I'm doing wrong or if there's some app to download that will help correct this. I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Experiencing the same thing. For whatever reason, GPS takes longer to get a location lock than iPhone 4 (or 3GS). It's not isolated to our Infuse 4G as it did the same thing on the Captivate I was using. Guess we learn to live with it

I also heard the same from a Sprint user with a Samsung Epic. Is it an Android issue?

There is an app called GPS Aids that seems to help get a faster location lock. The free version requires that it be ran every day while the paid version keeps the settings sticky.
